Note: But the "Treaty Of Versailles" is only between the Allied Power countries and Germany.
- This treaty was signed on 28June 1919.
Note: Dont confuse with 18January 1919, at this date the first meeting of "Paris Peace Conference" held and The "Versailles Treaty" signed at end of "Paris Peace Conference".
- This treaty got its name Versaille, from "Palace of Versailles", where it was signed in.
- "Palace Of Versailles" was the former French royal residence and centre of government.
- At the time of treaty "Palace Of Vrsailles" comes under city of Paris but Currently Versialles is seperate city in France.
- This treaty has 240pages and 440 articles.
- This treaty was the outcome of "Paris Peace Conference".
Note: It can be bit confusing that "Paris Peace COnference" had been held on Paris then Why did not the "Versaills treaty" called "Paris Treaty" ?
Note: Because, "Paris Peace Conference" signed in "Palace of Versailles" thats why treaty comes after that has called "Versaills treaty".
- The Paris Peace Conference convened in January 1919 at Versailles just outside Paris. The conference was called to establish the terms of the peace after World War I.
